UmweltBank supports Kinderhaus Nürnberg gGmbH with a €10,000 donation
The donation finances a kitchen and lunch for a year on the Südstadtinsel active playground for children and young people.
Outside of its business activities, the UmweltBank has its sights set firmly on its vision of "creating a world worth living in for us and future generations" and would like to take on social responsibility in the region with the Christmas donation: "In addition to financing environmental projects, it is important to us to support social and to support regional organizations. Because sustainability not only refers to ecology, but also to social interaction,” says Philipp Langenbach, Chief Representative of the UmweltBank.
The supervised playground Südstadtinsel offers children between the ages of 6 and 14 year-round play and exercise opportunities on 5,200 m² - a green oasis in the middle of the city. Trained educators organize the daily routine on the playground based on the needs of the children on site. Whether sporting activities, cooking together or nature experiences, a wide range of experiences are offered.
