GLS Bank has secured first place in the Fair Finance Guide, ranking as Germany’s fairest bank in the latest assessment of sustainable and ethical banking practices. The guide evaluates how German banks uphold human and environmental rights across 14 thematic areas and 226 criteria.

GLS Bank achieved an overall score of 98%, earning a perfect 100% in key areas including gender equality, human rights, labor rights, forestry, oil and gas, and armaments. The top ranking underscores the bank’s strong commitment to fairness, transparency, and sustainability.
