BancoSol Recognised for Sustainability and CSR in 2026

BancoSol has received the 2026 Recognition for Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, awarded by Revista COSAS Bolivia in partnership with national and international institutions, including the Bolivian Ministry of Development Planning and the Environment and United Nations Global Compact Bolivia.

The award highlights BancoSol’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development. As the first and only bank in Bolivia to adhere to the UN Principles for Responsible Banking, BancoSol contributes to 11 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Key impact achievements in 2025 include expanding access to finance for over 170,000 women entrepreneurs, delivering financial education to more than 200,000 people, and offsetting 100% of its institutional carbon footprint. The bank also continued to advance environmentally and socially responsible lending practices.

The recognition was accepted by senior representatives Enrique Ferraro and Marcia Díaz, underscoring BancoSol’s ongoing efforts to drive positive social, economic and environmental impact across Bolivia.
