Children left without parental care live in the houses of "SOS-Children's Village" in Ijevan. Here they receive care, upbringing and education, just like in a family. The charitable program also does everything to reunite the children with their biological family, if possible.

From now on, "SOS-Children's Village" of Ijevan will have an alternative source of energy thanks to its partners ACBA Bank and Visa BARERAR card holders. The 50 kW solar plant will relieve the village of a large financial burden, providing long-term savings. This is the 2nd phase of the project. back in 2018, ACBA installed 14 solar water heaters here with the same Visa CHARITY program, which is implemented with the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund, completely solving the water heating problem.

"We will continue the work aimed at increasing the volume of the Visa CHARITY card, so that as many of our customers as possible become philanthropists. Moreover, to become a philanthropist, all you need to do is make payments with a Visa CHARITY card, the rest we do ourselves at the expense of our profit. This program implemented in "SOS-Children's Village" was also important for us, so that, in addition to savings, about 100 children living here will see how important renewable energy is in their lives and everyday life, and we hope that when they grow up, they will be the same. one of the advocates to feed our country with clean energy and not to pollute the environment or to pollute it as little as possible," said Arsen Melkonyan, Deputy Chief Executive Director for Coordination of Business Functions of ACBA Bank.
