Credo Bank and FMO Partner to Support Georgian Entrepreneurs with USD 29 Million

Credo Bank and the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) have signed a GEL 80 million (approximately USD 29 million) facility agreement to bolster small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Georgia.

The funding, provided through a GEL-denominated AAA-rated bond, focuses on agriculture, women-led businesses, and young entrepreneurs, aiming to promote local currency lending and contribute to the de-dollarisation of Georgia’s economy. This partnership marks the ninth year of collaboration between FMO and Credo Bank, totaling over GEL 400 million (approximately USD 148 million) in investments to enhance financial access nationwide.
