Opportunity International wins the CIMG savings and loans company of the year 2020

Opportunity International has won the CIMG (Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana) Savings and Loans Company of the year 2020 for the third time. Previously won in 2013 and 2019.

Opportunity International Savings and Loans Limited, (OISL) is a leading savings and loans institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana in June 2004. OISL operates across 10 out of the 16 regions of the country with 17 years of advancing financial inclusion and bringing clients at the base of the pyramid into the mainstream financial services using innovative range of products and approaches.

As of September 2021, the institution had 599,461 clients.  Loan portfolio was GHS 174.7 million and client deposit balances were GHS 239.4 million. With a total asset of GHS 357.4 million which makes Opportunity International one of the biggest savings and loans companies in the country.

Over the last three years, the institution has scooped 29 prestigious awards including ‘CIMG Savings and Loans Company of the Year 2019 & 2020 and Savings and Loans Company of the Year 2018, 2019 & 2020 from the Ghana Business Awards.
