XacBank became Silver Award winner of the EBRD Sustainability Award 2022
GABV member XacBank is yet another member to be awarded a sustainability award. Recently, XacBank became the winner of the 2022 Silver Award for EBRD Sustainability.
Driven by their triple-bottom-line mission of "People, Planet, and Prosperity", the Mongolian XacBank won the award against exceptionally strong competition from across the EBRD's countries of operations. XacBank has been a partner of EBRD since 2006, as well as the first participant in the "Mongolian Sustainable Energy Financing Facility" (MonSEFF) in 2014 which financed renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions for business. This has benefitted XacBank with environmental assessment capacity building and provided engineering advisory services in carbon and cost savings feasibility studies from international experts to potential clients. Since 2013, as a pioneer financial institution in green financing, XacBank has amassed an impressive 'green' effort.
