G&C Mutual wins Canstar's Customer Owned Bank of the Year – Term Deposits 2024

G&C Mutual Bank’s (Australia) has won Canstar’s Customer Owned Bank of the Year – Term Deposits in 2024. This is the third year in a row that their term deposits have been recognised with this award in the Term Deposits category.

Canstar’s Term Deposit Awards recognise the financial institutions offering quality term deposit products across rates, terms, and product features. Each term deposit product reviewed for the awards has been assessed using a value-based methodology where both price and features are considered. To arrive at the total score, Canstar applies a weight against each component of a customer's journey with the product ranging from application to maturity. On top of reviewing the customer journey, Canstar’s Research Team looked at two deposit amounts – $25,000 and $75,000 – across a range of terms from one month to five years, using six months of historical interest rate data.
