Opportunity Bank Uganda Hosts African Banks for WASH Financial Services Knowledge Exchange

Opportunity Bank Uganda hosted Sterling Bank, LAPO Microfinance, National Association of Microfinance Banks and Tanzania Commercial Bank at their head office at the beginning of the month for an insightful exposure visit, facilitated by their partner Water.org. 

The visit focused on sharing best practices in delivering inclusive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) financial services which is a critical area for improving health and dignity across Africa.

Participants engaged in strategic roundtable discussions and comprehensive knowledge-sharing sessions, exploring innovative approaches to delivering inclusive WASH financial services. The program's highlight included field visits with WASH loan beneficiaries, providing firsthand insights into the real-world impact of sustainable financing solutions.
