3Bank is Organising 'The Young Farmer of the Year' Competition

GABV member, 3Bank has announced "The Young Farmer of the Year" competition, where three winners will be awarded 500,000, 300,000, and 200,000 dinars each (USD 4674.38, 2804.63, and 1869.75, respectively). Following the selection of candidates by the jury, the audience will have a chance to choose the top three finalists on the 3Bank website.

All registered agricultural household owners under the age of 35 are entitled to participate, as long as they intend to remain and continue developing their households in rural areas. Candidates are limited to owning a maximum of 20 ha if they farm, 5 ha if they grow fruits or vegetables outdoors, or 0.5 ha if they grow vegetables.

The jury panel, consisting of the State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, President of the Cooperative Union of Vojvodina, Manager of the Serbian Foundation for Entrepreneurship, and  President of the Executive Board of 3Bank, will select the finalists from the candidate pool.

The main goal of 3Bank is to assist farmers, especially the smaller ones; this dedication is reinforced by the fact that half of the farmers who borrow money are clients of 3Bank.
